The penultimate round of the 2008 Maxxis British Motocross Championship lived up its billing with both of the main classes enjoying drama packed races to leave the respective title races to be decided at the final encounter at Hawkstone Park in late September.

The hilltop circuit at Brampton, just to the east of Carlisle hosted a thrilling penultimate round of the 2008 Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship, leaving both titles still to be decided, and the prestigious Fuchs Silkolene Charity Award still up for grabs.

Just two rounds and four motos separates the main contenders in the 2008 Maxxis ACU British Championship from being crowned Kings of their respective classes.

Billy MacKenzie – CAS Honda and Stephen Sword – Molson Kawasaki both recorded double moto wins in their respective classes as round six of the 2008 Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship was played out in hot and dry conditions.
