The Lyng track is situated one mile North of the A1067 Norwich to Fakenham Road, or three miles from the A47 Norwich to King's Lynn Road and is signposted from these major roads on the day of the event. If you are using GPS Navigation Systems, the track is located at postcode NR9 5AL.

The Norwich Vikings have been organizing motorcycle events at Cadders Hill venue since 1936. Originally the venue was used for hillclimbs, with a stint as a forces training area during the war, when club members held competitive events against the Army and Home Guard.
After the war they ran what were known as mountain grasstracks until the circuit became too rough and from 1949 onwards they switched to scrambles. Current supreme, Dennis Slaughter, started competing there in 1948 and has been involved in one capacity or another ever since.
Lyng was one of the venues for the televised Trophy scrambles in the late 60s, hosted a 125cc Grand Prix in 1993 and has been running British Championship events for over 20 years.
